They offer pretty cheap lessons at my community college. They might have something like that by you. I think you might just need to be in highschool to attend.

omg, I keep trying to do this and everytime I pull my finger away, the d string makes a freaking annoying noise. I am sure it’s not the string itself b/c I play that alone and it sounds fine. Anyone got any suggestions?

I like your approach to teaching. Perhaps you can do a youtube piece on finger picking…or is there already one?

Thanks. I’ve never really been into rock but your lesson opened up a bunch of new doors. You have a good way on concentrating on what I want to learn or have explained instead of ‘going over our heads’ as many lessons do.

    Thanks and much, much appreciated!

    Fantastic! thanks so much!
I played this after a couple hours of practice. My wife was very impressed. She’ll probably keep me for another 24 years as who can resist a guy and his guitar.

I’m going to put this on my ‘must practice list’ at least a couple minutes a day. I’m determined to get into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame before my 75th birthday…only 20 years to go.I’ll be sure to give you a big (deserved) thanks on stage when I give my speech.
    Much appreciated from Canada

This is an excellent demo, she is very clear and definitely holds our 9 year old daughters interest, not to mention teaching my Dad the cords which is something he has wanted top know for years, he plays by sound, though not anymore so thanks heaps.
