Paul Jackson Jr – The science of rhythm guitar

In this video on the science of rhythm guitar, you’ll learn how you can’t just play whatever you want to! Paul Jackson Jr is a master of the rhythm guitar, and unfortunately the rhythm guitar often gets overlooked, as most of the attention goes to the lead guitar. Part of the focus of this website is to try to help bring more attention to the rhythm guitar, as it is a very important part of the overall sound of the song and the performance.

In this video you’ll see how Paul fits his playing into the pockets left by the other instruments, so that he’s not overpowering or muddying the waters, or stepping on anyone else’s toes. Rather, his playing becomes simply the icing on the cake. Once you watch the video, I think you’ll see what I mean!

The Science of Rhythm Guitar:

As the one in-charge of the rhythm guitar, it is important that you don’t just play how you like it. This video would let you know the importance of proper timing and the appropriate syncing of the rhythm guitar as part of the instruments to produce an astounding music.

Listen to what Paul Jackson Jr has to say on the science of rhythm guitar, as it is very important!
