Oh yeah those are huge picks. Personally I liked using them for bass but not as much for guitar because I feel like it doesn’t allow for much accuracy. But if you like it then don’t worry about it, that’s all that is important.

My Personal favourite is the Jim dunlop .73mm Nylon. It’s a lil sloppy but i find it easy to use.

for fast downpicking, should the little finger be leaning?

    It doesn’t really matter.

    thanks a lot.
but, I I began with the leaned little finger, and now I’m trying with the lifted little finger and I have more speed than leaned.
    I don’t know why… I suppose that I need more practice…

I never noticed it, but Ive been playing all along by strumming by my forearm. What should I do to change this so I can actually start building in speed?

I did that like week ago, just take it with you into the airplane, they can’t allow you to do that, or buy a solid guitar case and turn it in

I have a question that’s really been bothering me. When you’re talking about going from palm muted to non palm muted parts, should my hand be floating in the air when picking the single notes? Like your example with blackened. Do you palm mute the e then lift your hand up a little bit so the notes on the a and d string are not muted? When I pick single notes with my hand in the air like that I kind of get lost, but it could very much be that I need more practice lol.
